Review #16: Skin's Shangri La
Type: Face
This facial moisturiser is a godsend. Unfortunately, I don't have any images for this one; nevertheless, it's amazing.
I got this as a tester from Lush as well as celestial, and let me tell you, I'm glad I did.
The scent of this reminds me of fluffy vanilla clouds and everything delicious ever. It has a creamy texture and applies extremely well to the skin.
This is good for any skin type and nourished my skin completely. 10/10 from me!

Review #15: Happy Happy Joy Joy
Type: Hair
Sadly, I don't have any images for this post as it was a tester and I used it all. Sorry!
This conditioner is amazing. Seriously. It is a light conditioner and was a hair fragrancing conditioner. I will definitely buy this again!
I rarely get comments on my hair but I was lucky enough to get as many as three- all the same- “your hair smells amazing!”
This beautiful scent actually endured washing, drying, and even my PE Lesson in the pouring rain. Caroline even commented on how my hair scent overpowered the scent of the (brand new) car air freshener.
It left my hair soft and beautiful! Recommend this to any hair type. 9/10!!

Review #14: Honey I Washed the Kids
Type: Body
Someone summon the angels and tune the harp. Get the apples, I have the toffee. Heavenly toffee.
I can easily see why this is the best selling soap of all of the Lush soap creations. As if the cute honeycomb pattern isn't enough to have you sold, wait until you smell it!!
(image)
This product has THE most AMAZING smell. I dislike honey and have never been attracted to this soap until today I took a sniff. Instant love! The toffee scent infused every sense and even made my mouth water. I was extremely tempted to lick it- weird, I know. It's who I am.
It smells delicious and left my skin supple and moisturised. Nevertheless, clean! It's refreshing, yet relaxing and comforting.
(Image)
I would recommend this product to anyone with nostrils. Seriously. Even if you can't afford it, pop into Lush and just smell it. Top marks! 10/10 from me.

Review #13: Cynthia Sylvia Stout
Type: Hair
This shampoo is composed of, wait, beer? Yes, beer! Beer is extremely nourishing to the hair and creates body and volume. If you can't afford to tip a pint over your head, or want a strengthening protein shampoo, then get a load of this!
This shampoo firstly doesn't have the most appealing scent (in my opinion); it's quite clear that the smell here is simply beer! (Yes I'm an undercover poet. Sh. Keep it between you and me.) As an untypical teenage girl who doesn't hang around bargain booze of a weekend, I am really not fond of the smell of alcohol.
However, I am fond of shiny, bouncy and healthy hair. So I can let the smell slide. The smell doesn't linger and it's not immensely strong, but I'll tell you what is strong, both my hair and my liking of this shampoo!
I can't see any hair type having an issue with this shampoo. It lathers extremely well and washes out just as easy. Although the smell doesn't linger, unfortunately, it's knocking off a couple of marks for me. 8/10. I will repurchase this product, but I'm not afraid to look around.

Review #12: Jungle
Type: Hair
This is one of LUSH's solid conditioner bars. I have used it 3 times now, and it's working well!
It smells like leaves. that's it. A clean, fresh scent that rests lightly and refreshingly on the hair. It's making my hair shiny and nourishing it well. Taming frizz well and it's looking healthy! Seems to have repaired my hair in some way. It has a cute tribal pattern on the top (which I have pretty much worn away with lathering) and it's moderately easy to lather. The first time I used it, I found it almost impossible to lather. With each wash it seems to have gotten easier.
I rate this a 10/10! Refreshing scent and suitable for any hair types. A light to medium weight, shouldn't be a problem to any hair.

Review #11: Vanilla Puff
Type: Body and Hygiene
This powder deodorant smells wonderful. Each bottle has at least one vanilla pod ground into it to maintain the smell for as long as possible.
For a start, my skin was left irresistibly soft and silky. The scent and softness lasted all day (since I applied it this morning), so about 14 hours now! I think this absorbs any moisture you produce, and the wonderful thing is, you can apply this all over the body! You could use a big fluffy brush, like a kabuki brush, to transfer the powder from the palm of your hand to the area of choice.

LUSH Haul #1!
Hey guys! I'm sat in Costa at the moment. We've just been to LUSH and bought lots of things to review for you all! Any guesses at what we've bought?

Apologies for any Inconvenience! :(
So, I log into Blogger and look at my schedule to see what post to compose next. I begin composing for you all, and when I came to attach the first photograph, I realised that, earlier in the day during my importing session, something had gone wrong and I had lost ALL of my photos; my personal photographs as well as my blog photographs! Argh!
So, I apologise for any inconvenience. I am going to LUSH tomorrow anyway, so you can have a mini-spam to make up for it. Have a good bank holiday everyone,

Review #10: Charity Pot
Type: Skin
This light moisturiser is very thin and for a good cause. 100% of it's proceeds go to charity (not including VAT) and keeps your skin radiant and youthful.
The smell is something I can only describe as Turkish Delight (the chocolate, not the originals) and leaves skin moisturised and nourished. It's light, thin formula allows it to be used sparingly and no matter what sized tub you buy, the product goes a long way. However be careful handling it, it may spill, as it has the properties of a liquid.
This product is easy to carry and useful for hand moisturising. I rate this a 9/10! Suitable for all skin types.

Review #9: Tea Tree Water
Type: Skin
This toner works with Ultrabland (liveforlush.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/review-8-ultrabland.html) which is an oil-based cleanser. Tea tree water helps combat my combination skin and teenage spots.
The spray bottle makes it easy to mist directly onto the face. Two to three mists works for me, or you could spray it onto cotton and wash over the face. I use this after using ultrabland, and it works amazingly well. The smell of this is a very delicate, light fragrance of tea tree, but does not sting the eyes or burn the skin, as it is highly watered down, but not too much to be ineffective. My wonder products!
I rate this product a 10/10. Suitable for all skin types. Not one complaint!
Overall I rate my combination of Ultrabland and Tea Tree Water 20/20. Perfect for any type of skin and busts any blemishes. Keeps skin looking healthy and balanced!

Review #8: Ultrabland
Type: Face
Okay, so to clear things up I have combination skin: an oily T-zone and normal to dry for the rest of my face.
I use this cleanser along with tea tree water, as my next review post demonstrates. Ultrabland itself is an oily cleanser, but I use tea tree water to balance out the oiliness.
The smell is not a big deal. It is, as the name suggests, pretty bland. And as not so many ingredients are used, I find it, alongside tea tree water, to be great for blemishes and spots. As a teenager, I deal with many blemishes, but I find this combination actually keeps my skin free from blemishes 97% of the time!
Although Ultrabland claims to be suitable for all skin types, I think super oily skin might struggle with this product. Combatting oily upon oily will just leave the skin greasy and looking a little unnatural. I rate this product a 10/10, works perfectly for me!

Review #7: R&B
Type: Hair
This leave-in hair moisturiser is fabulous. It left my hair somewhat more moisturised, but I don't think I've been using enough.
This bright-yellow paste-like formation doesn't smell the best. At least it doesn't leave a lingering smell in your hair, but straight from the pot it smells.. I'm not sure. Not revolting, but not the typical smell you would expect from a LUSH product. It's not sweet, nor flowery. I can only say it worked well for my frizzy head and left it moisturised and looking fairly healthier.
I recommend this for curly, frizzy, dry or thick hair. Any hair type really, but I wouldn't really recommend this for thin, fine hair, as it can be heavy and could make the hair look a little sparse or greasy.
Overall, it's a 6/10 from me. I think if I used this product more or gave more of a generous helping to my hair, I would like it more.

Review #6: Each Peach and Two's a Pair
This massage bar is absolutely amazing! It's non-greasy formula soaks into the skin amazingly well and leaves my skin radiant and healthy.
The cute little design of a smile is enough to have you sold; but wait until you smell it. Peach and Mango spring to mind when I smell this tropical delight. Fruity and uplifting, I myself actually use this as a moisturiser bar. I simply melt this onto my skin (it melts at skin temperature so just rub it all over) and I'm good to go!
This is suitable for all skin types. I'd be careful with skin conditions, but it shouldn't irritate the skin.
I award this product a 10/10 because I really like the tropical scent and it moisturises well. Non-greasy and absorbs well. Perfect!

Review #5: Space Girl
Space girl is a light and girly bath bomb, shaped, wait for it, like saturn! It has a light shimmer, but won't leave you looking like Ke$ha after a night out.
It's violet-red combinations compliment a scent I can only describe as the scent of swizzles, the little disc-like sweets. Am I the only one who remembers those?
This product leaves the skin feeling smooth and leaves you smelling great. After bathing with space girl, no matter what the age, you feel like a kid again.
Suitable for all skin types, although microscopic glitter could irritate eczema.
I feel that this is a bath bomb to leave you feeling perky and sparky, giving energy and yet relaxing you. I rate this a 10/10, as it smells divine and leaves you uplifted.

Review #4: Retread
Type: Hair
Partnering with 'Rehab' shampoo, the previous post, this conditioner is fabulous for hair repair, and I found the conditioner removed a little frizz. Here's the Rehab review incase you missed it: http://liveforlush.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/review-3-rehab.html
This conditioner definitely softened the hair. I find it deeply penetrated hair fibres and helps strengthen each strand (working with the shampoo). It has a light aroma that I tend to associate with pine trees at the beach. One of the key ingredients is seaweed, which works with soya milk to provide protein to the hair, which strengthens it as each hair is built up of varying protein cells.
Again, I think this will work with any hair type suffering from damage.
I rate this product a 9/10 as it leaves my hair soft and repaired wash after wash.
As a pair, I rate Rehab and Retread an 18/20.

Review #3: Rehab
Type: Hair
Rehab is a herbal shampoo for damaged hair.
Rehab's surprisingly minty aroma sets a light, chilled mood during the washing of the hair, and believe me; it repairs fast. I found it, along with retread (my next scheduled post) worked extremely well at repearing, strengthening and renewing my locks, which had been damaged in every way possible!
I recommend this product for damaged hair, whether it to be thin and fine or voluminous and thick.
I rate this product a 9/10 as I really enjoy the scent of a light mint and it repaired my hair extremely well!

Review #2: The Olive Branch
Type: Shower Gel
This product, built up of fairtrade ingredients such as olive oil, mandarins and vine leaves, leaves my skin extremely soft!
Before applying all over the body, you must shake the solution (as demonstrated to the left). Contrary to it's name, this product actually does not smell like olives. It has a light, fresh uplifting smell that I myself associate with woodland areas. Clean and natural.
It is a very liquid-based substance and quite oily. I would not recommend for people suffering from skin problems, but any other skin type should be left silky soft!
I rate this product a 10/10, as it is heavenly, and, I simply love it!

Review #1: Roots
Type: Hair Product
Roots is a hair treatment that you apply twenty minutes prior to washing your lovely locks. It has a menthol/minty aroma which, I have found, also helps relieve me of a cold if ever I have one.
The results I saw were instantly fantastic. I noticed less hair loss throughout washing and drying, and even throughout the fortnight. I usually apply this bi-weekly, or if my hair is feeling particularly fine. I found my hair less frizzy, smoother and somewhat sleeker. The scalp was also soothed, and free of sebum (buildup of product), which actually slows hair growth.
I recommend this product for all hair types, from Afro-Carribean to fine locks.
I would give this product a 9/10, as it refreshes my hair completely.
